Description

The University of Maine System is seeking an Advancement CRM Administrator and Service Delivery Lead to support and enhance our Advancement CRM and digital marketing platform. This role is central to ensuring our campuses and Foundation teams can leverage technology for effective engagement, data-driven decision-making, and long-term success.

The Administrator will collaborate with key stakeholders across the system to implement, maintain, and optimize CRM solutions. This includes system administration, training, integration management, data quality oversight, and documentation. The role may also supervise a small team providing system support and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Advancement CRM and reporting system.
  • Configure and manage technical functions such as accounts, dashboards, workflows, and integrations.
  • Train campus and Foundation staff on CRM functionality and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, perform optimizations, and resolve data/ETL issues.
  • Maintain CRM/ERP integrations for each business unit. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to adapt the system to evolving business needs. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and support systems.
  • Stay current on CRM and reporting tools, sharing relevant updates and opportunities. Analyze CRM-related data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in CRM user groups and professional communities.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000, commensurate with the candidate's training, education, and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with flexibility available as mutually agreed upon between the supervisor and employee.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with enterprise systems administration and development.
  • Strong background in CRM Administration, including triggers, workflow automation, and related functions.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM/ERP integrations, and data segmentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, assess needs, and develop effective CRM and digital marketing solutions. 
  • Proficiency in Apex or an equivalent object-oriented language (Java, C#/.NET).
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes using middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or comparable tools. 
  • Relevant CRM certifications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of reporting tools and underlying structures as they relate to CRMs and digital marketing platforms. 
  • Demonstrated ability to train users on complex topics. 
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Preferred

  • Higher education experience is strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is strongly preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms
