Be a part of Renesas AI Center of Excellence and assist its CS team out of Columbia, MD.
The CS team is traditionally responsible for being the first point-of-contact for all AI projects Renesas conducts with its customers. We are also responsible for application notes development and demo building using the latest technologies. As part of this job, the Intern will be responsible for assisting the team on both of these tasks.
Students must be enrolled fulltime in university pursuing a BS/MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
Basic understanding of Python.
Basic understanding of data manipulation & preprocessing libraries (numpy, pandas, etc).
Good communication skills (may be asked to join customer calls).
Eagerness to learn about our internal AI stack & tools (previous AI/ ML knowledge is not required).
Preferred: Entry level knowledge of C programming language.
Bonus: If you have knowledge of embedded programming. Not strictly required though.
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $29.50 - $34.75. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount, including any applicable bonuses, will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset of the candidate.
