JOB SUMMARY
MAP International is seeking a results-driven and mission-aligned Digital Marketing Manager to lead our online marketing and fundraising efforts. This role is pivotal in driving digital engagement, increasing online revenue, and advancing brand visibility in support of MAP’s global mission. The ideal candidate will bring strong website development experience and a data-informed approach to digital strategy, while managing multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, and SEO. This full-time, remote position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and plays a key role in shaping the organization’s digital presence and donor journey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DIGITAL STRATEGY & EXECUTION
- Develop and build new websites and continuously optimize to enhance user experience, boost conversions, and support digital fundraising goals.
- Manage ongoing content updates to ensure the website remains accurate, engaging, and aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor website performance and user behavior using analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement SEO best practices to increase visibility and organic traffic.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize page layouts, messaging, and donation flows.
- Coordinate across departments to deliver integrated marketing efforts that reflect organizational priorities.
DIGITAL MARKETING OUTREACH & PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION
- Manage and monitor social media presence to ensure effective content delivery and optimize the performance of organic and paid campaigns.
- Upload and schedule content across social media platforms to support marketing and fundraising efforts.
- Monitor the performance of organic posts, tracking reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Analyze paid ad performance and collaborate with external partners.
- Execute and optimize email marketing campaigns to engage supporters, grow revenue, and drive donor retention.
- Deploy targeted email campaigns aligned with marketing objectives and fundraising initiatives.
- Manage and segment email lists to ensure accurate targeting and improved campaign performance.
- Upload and maintain clean, organized contact lists within the email platform.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, etc. to increase open and click-through rates.
- Manage digital project timelines and ensure completion within budget and scope.
DIGITAL DONATION TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTION & MANAGEMENT
- Develop and maintain campaign-specific donation forms while collaborating with external vendors to enhance MAP’s online giving experience.
- Build and customize donation forms that align with specific fundraising campaigns and users experience best practices.
- Monitor donation form performance and recommend improvements based on conversion data.
- Oversee relationships with select external vendors and agencies to include performance monitoring, invoicing, and deliverable reviews.
- Work closely with the online giving platform vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement updates that improve donor experience and giving outcomes.
- Drive digital fundraising growth to increase the number of new donors acquired online and grow the average annual donation amount, supporting the organization's digital fundraising revenue objectives.
ANALYTICS, REPORTING & OPTIMIZATION
- Own and manage digital marketing analytics to inform strategy, optimize performance, and drive data-based decision-making by utilizing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Parsely).
- Maintain and monitor key performance metrics across all digital channels.
- Generate monthly reports that track campaign results, website traffic, and audience engagement using Parsely.
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities through data analysis to improve effectiveness.
- Present actionable insights to stakeholders to guide strategic marketing decisions.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Public Relations and is a key member of the Marketing team within the Global Giving division. The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams across the organization and manage external vendor relationships.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing and website development, with a proven track record of managing successful multi-channel campaigns.
- Proficiency in various platforms: Google ads, Meta ads, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Parsely.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in website development and management
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (email, social, SEO, paid media, and web).
- Demonstrated success in building and optimizing website content and landing pages using CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Experience managing digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid media platforms with measurable results.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Parsely) to track performance and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and segment email lists, deploy campaigns, and run A/B tests using platforms such as Emma.
- Experience building and optimizing online donation forms using digital giving platform (e.g., FundraiseUp).
- Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute digital strategies.
- Evidence of learning and navigating multiple marketing and data systems (CRM, CMS, email platforms, analytics dashboards) within short periods.
- Experience independently managing high-volume digital projects from strategy to execution under tight deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills demonstrated through digital content production, campaign messaging, and donor communication.
