Position Overview:
The Identity Solutions Marketing Director plays a pivotal role at Deep Sync, helping to shape our story to customers across all identity and data solutions products, including cloud-based and AI-driven work. This includes external messaging like site content, core presentations, blog posts, and press releases, as well as product-related materials for internal and external use. It also includes the strategy and execution of paid and social media campaigns. The Identity Solutions Marketing Director will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and help drive company revenue by crafting strong narratives, executing successful campaigns, and building the Deep Sync brand in the identity and data solutions space.

- Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Strong interpersonal skills and ease with building/establishing rapport with an array of people and teams
- Professional demeanor, goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Passion for learning, trying new things, understanding what works, and quickly adjusting what doesn't
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Intelligence – Continuously research Deep Sync’s marketplace, competitors, and customers to understand customer needs and mindsets throughout the purchase cycle. Know our competitive advantages/disadvantages and how to leverage those in gaining greater market share.
- Brand Management — Help ensure brand standards are maintained and best practices are exemplified.
- Sales Enablement – Assist with the development of various types of sales tools that support each phase of selling and retention, including sales sheets, scripts, etc.
- Lead Generation – Develop and implement high-quality lead generation programs that leverage an integrated approach across multiple channels.
- Content Marketing – Update and expand our editorial content including email content, white papers, case studies, blog posts, press releases, trade articles, and newsletter articles. Write content that positions team members as industry experts and actively promote new content via social media and other channels.
- Social Media Management – Maintain a consistent schedule of original and shared content on our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. May also include paid advertising.
- Email Marketing – Coordinate the development of marketing emails and report on routine acquisition and loyalty email marketing programs.
- Reporting/Tracking — Measure and monitor the success of your marketing efforts with status updates and reports to key stakeholders.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration — Work with internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution of projects.
- Project Management — Develop project timelines and update them accordingly throughout each project, ensuring all efforts adhere to schedules and deadlines.
- Process Improvement – Consistently work to improve/streamline processes and procedures.
- Go-to-Market Strategy – Define and execute GTM plans for new product features and launches, ensuring positioning, messaging, and channel strategy are aligned across teams.
- Customer & Market Feedback Loop – Partner with product management to synthesize customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends into product roadmap and messaging recommendations.
Positioning & Messaging Development – Craft clear, differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with key buyer personas and support demand generation and sales efforts. - All other requirements of the role to accomplish goals.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- 7 or more years of experience
Location: Hybrid to Kirkland, WA (Minimum of Tuesday-Thursday in office)
