In this role, you will lead and scale a high-performing engineering organization focused on delivering AI-powered digital advertising solutions. You will oversee multiple engineering teams, shaping long-term technical strategy, architecture, and operational frameworks. Collaborating closely with Product, Data, and Tech leadership, you will drive innovation, process improvement, and the adoption of AI-first practices across the organization. Accountabilities:
As Head of Engineering, your main responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and scaling multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 30+ engineers, including Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
- Defining and executing engineering strategy aligned with business priorities and product roadmaps.
- Championing an AI-first mindset, embedding AI and automation into architecture, workflows, and decision-making processes.
- Partnering with Product, Data, and Tech leadership to shape long-term platform vision and technical strategy.
- Establishing engineering processes and best practices to promote high code quality, velocity, and operational excellence.
- Driving strategic hiring, talent development, organizational design, and team performance planning.
- Identifying and addressing technical, organizational, and process challenges as teams and platforms scale.
- Overseeing budgeting, resourcing, and cross-functional initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, and security.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will bring:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading engineering organizations of 30+ people across multiple teams and domains.
- Strong technical foundation in modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Experience embedding AI and machine learning into products, platforms, or engineering operations.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and quality assurance at scale.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills to inspire and align teams.
- Demonstrated success in scaling teams, improving processes, and aligning engineering execution with business outcomes.
- Experience in AdTech or SaaS is a strong plus.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills in complex, high-stakes environments.
