Human Resources Generalist

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. You will provide HR consulting to contact centre leaders and teams nationally. You bring to the table a pragmatic and consultative approach and will engage daily on business conversations in areas of employee relations, leave of absence management, health and safety, and immigration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional coaching and consulting to contact centre leaders across the organization on all people-related matters.
• Offer policy interpretation and resolve employee relations issues through effective problem-solving and support.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Proactively engage with leaders on employee initiatives through monthly and ad hoc touch points.
• Contribute to national HR programs such as compliance, health and safety, immigration, and other key initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 2-3 years Human Resources Generalist and employee relations experience
• Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or related program of study
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Certified Human Resources Professional designation or equivalent preferred
• Strong knowledge of applicable employment legislation, strategies for compliance, and HR best practices
• Demonstrated experience solving problems based on analysis, collaborating to reach solutions, and displaying a curious and learning focused approach
• Ability to coordinate daily tasks and ongoing projects effectively and efficiently within specified timeframes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function well in a dynamic and fast paced work environment while remaining positive and focused
