Job Purpose: Denova Collaborative Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support core HR functions and enhance the overall employee experience. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, accurate HRIS updates, and compliant leave administration. Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the Generalist serves as a key liaison between employees and the HR department, fostering a supportive and efficient workplace culture.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires; facilitate onboarding and conduct New Hire Orientation (NEO).
  • Coordinate background checks and drug screenings with external vendors.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure new employees are set up for success.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, including status changes, terminations, and data audits.
  • Process and track employment-related documentation and ensure compliance with document retention policies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and support requests submitted via the HR inbox.
  • Complete employment verifications and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and administer leave requests under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ensuring timely communication and compliance.
  • Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to HR processes.
  • Promote and model professional ethics, confidentiality, and inclusive practices.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What We Need From You:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in HR or administrative roles.
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems required.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with common HRIS platforms and web-based tools.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (printer, scanner, phone, etc.).

Your Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, hybrid position based at Denova Headquarters (DHQ) with a rotating onsite schedule to support onboarding and equipment distribution:

  • Week A:

Monday: Onsite (New Hire Orientation)

Wednesday: Onsite

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Remote

  • Week B:

Wednesday: Onsite

Friday: Onsite (Device Pick-Up)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Remote

The rotation supports biweekly device pick-ups (Fridays) and New Hire Orientations (Mondays). This schedule is subject to change based on business needs and departmental priorities.
