We are currently searching for an Oracle Database Administrator:
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end Oracle DBA support across L1, L2, and L3 levels.
- L1: Monitor database alerts, logs, backups, performance metrics, and respond to incident tickets. Escalate unresolved issues to L2.
- L2: Perform routine administrative activities, resolve escalated incidents, and coordinate with support teams. Escalate complex issues to L3.
- L3: Implement RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. Design database architecture, troubleshoot advanced issues, perform upgrades/migrations, and optimize performance.
- Conduct failover/switchover activities for BCP and disaster recovery.
- Maintain database availability, security policies, and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and create knowledge base documentation.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DBA architecture.
- Proficiency in Oracle 19c, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Experience in performance tuning, database upgradation, and patching.
- Hands-on expertise in backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to troubleshoot cluster/ASM issues and maintain database integrity.
- SQL tuning and VLDB administration.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Languages:
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
