Own the design strategy and execution for complex product areas from exploration and concepting to polished, production-ready work.
Lead strategic design initiatives that span multiple surfaces, teams, and systems by influencing product direction at a high level.
Deeply understand user needs, constraints, and workflows - turning insights into intuitive flows, frameworks, and patterns.
Partner closely with Engineering, Product and GTM teams to drive decisions, balance trade-offs, and scale design through systems and collaboration.
Raise the quality bar through direct contribution, design reviews, mentorship, and setting strong standards for craft.
Help shape the future of design at Payrails by contributing to our design system, process, and culture as we grow.
You bring 8+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in complex B2B, SaaS, or infrastructure environments, and including experience operating at Staff level or equivalent.
You’re confident designing for complexity not just individual screens, but systems, user journeys, and mental models.
You have a strong point of view, grounded in user needs and product thinking and you know how to communicate it clearly.
You’ve worked closely with engineers and product teams in fast-paced environments, and know how to move from idea to iteration to delivery.
You take ownership, move with urgency, and sweat the details from flows to micro-interactions.
You’re motivated by impact, not credit and you’re excited to help shape both product and team.
You’re a builder at heart energized by the opportunity to define a brand from early stages and evolve it as the company grows.
