We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our creative team, supporting visual storytelling and brand consistency across Sequoia’s marketing and digital platforms. In this role, you will conceptualize and execute compelling visual designs, illustrations, and motion graphics that strengthen our brand identity and resonate deeply with our B2B audience.
This role requires a high level of collaboration with teams across Marketing, UX Design, Product, Web Team, and Communications to translate strategic initiatives into visually cohesive and impactful designs.
An ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, visual storytelling, and digital marketing design, with potential strengths in illustration and motion graphics. You are strategic and detail-oriented, have a refined visual aesthetic, and are passionate about crafting powerful, design-driven solutions that elevate our brand.
This role reports directly to the Creative Director.
Develop on-brand visual designs for web experiences, digital campaigns, landing pages, social media assets, and email communications that support acquisition, engagement, and brand loyalty.
Produce and deliver on-brand creative and graphical assets needed for our marketing campaigns under direction of the creative director.
Participate in visual concepting sessions, contributing innovative ideas aligned with campaign strategies and brand guidelines.
Maintain visual consistency and elevate Sequoia’s brand standards across all digital channels.
Stay current on visual design trends, techniques, and best practices in branding, digital, and interactive media.
Demand Generation Campaigns: pay per click advertising, email, social media, and other channels
Content Design: Layout for annual reports, benchmark reports and infographics
Social Media
Event Branding & Design: Designing activations and structures, signage systems,
Employee Experience (apparel, office environmental graphics, internal collateral)
Maintain brand visual library including layout systems and templates, illustrations, icons, color sets, brand patterns, logo lockups and more
Produce Branded collateral and collateral systems (1 pagers, whitepapers, presentations, storyboards for videos)
Collaborate with other designers to establish effective workflows, shareable brand kits, and project documentation, feedback and organization
Collaborate with web designer to produce compelling branded digital experiences
Attend team meetings and calls and be an effective contributor to team initiatives
Effectively plan and communicate in regard to deadlines, bandwidth, project requirements, and project updates/handoffs to facilitate collaboration within the broader marketing team
Commitment to sustaining company values and key organizational goals
What You Bring:
5+ years' experience in visual design, branding, and digital marketing design, preferably within B2B brands or companies. Experience on both the agency and business side is highly desirable.

Creative application of design to a corporate marketing campaign or event
Fluency with both the print and digital world
We love to see personal side projects that display your full creative range, but please ensure that the majority of your portfolio is focused on relevant brand work delivered for corporate clients.
Nice to have: event/environmental design experience, illustration experience
Tools you’ll need to work in every day:
Adobe suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Canva for building out marketing and social media asset templates
Figma for precise digital layouts and systems
Microsoft suite of tools including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Who you’ll report to: Creative Director, Mexico City
Your key collaborators: Brand experience director, marketing leadership, Demand-gen team, and key organizational stakeholders and functional team leaders.
Location: Hybrid, Mexico City. 3 days onsite per week required.
Language: Fluency in Business level.
