This fantastic organizational growth is necessitating additional insurance focused personnel to meet business needs.

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for review, analysis, and negotiation of the organization's contracts and other related documents, which involves the identification, communication, and resolution of contracts and contract issues as well as other legal or compliance-related issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business or any other applicable program.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years related experience

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advises internal customers on acceptable contract language based upon Company's signatory authority guidelines.

  • Applies bonding and insurance knowledge to contract situations/issues in furtherance of final resolution.

  • Assists Contracts Manager and Senior Administrator in the creation of new language/templates or procedures within the department. When applicable, may also assist Contract Team with Subcontractor Compliance, including reviewing and interpreting contractual requirements and in development and implementation of subcontracts and master agreements for vendors in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines to ensure that Company safeguards are being optimized and the client needs are being met.

  • Operates autonomously and makes decisions on contract language daily with minimal guidance.

  • Reviews and interprets contractual requirements to ensure that Company priorities and safeguards are being optimized and that the Company's needs are being met.

  • Interacts, educates, and communicates effectively with internal and external customers on a daily basis to resolve contract issues and related questions; including issues that may impact the Company or projects and assists in management of contract language.

  • Drafts contracts and amendments for internal and external customers. When applicable, this may also include subcontracts.

  • Drafts correspondence, memos, or other written communication as a means to explain and resolve contract issues.

  • Performs research on various legal issues relating to contract language.

  • Assists with the corporate bonding and insurance program as it relates to contracts and possibly subcontracts.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
