The Customer Marketing Manager role develops and implements community engagement and brand activation programs for EVERFI’s largest-value customers with the goal of driving customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention. The Manager collaborates with the Account Management team to establish marketing goals for each customer in their assigned portfolio, and develops marketing materials (collateral, events, videos, social media content, etc.) that support those goals. The Manager also defines needs and requirements for customer launch events and other live student engagements in order to help customers connect with the students and educators who are benefiting from their educational investment.
This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with sports leagues and teams, as well as some of the nation’s leading brands in financial services and healthcare, to help these customers showcase their commitment to the communities they serve.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage customer engagement programs for Everfi clients, including in-person and virtual event strategy, student scholarship contests, teacher engagement contests, social media campaigns, and other promotions.
- Collaborate with team members across the customer lifecycle (including Sales and Customer Success) to create marketing strategy and lead marketing execution for each customer in assigned portfolio.
- Project manage the development of creative assets including collateral, videos, social media campaigns, case studies and other marketing materials in collaboration with Creative Services and external vendors.
- Define requirements and success metrics for customer launch events, including logistics, design, signage and attendee management, social media strategy, and drafting of press materials.
- Develop scalable resources that can be leveraged across all customers including marketing toolkits, event playbooks, social media templates.
- Track and report on key metrics (budget, customer satisfaction surveys) to inform future improvements and find efficiencies.
- Maintain strong knowledge and understanding in applicable industries served by the organization (e.g. sports, financial services, K12 education, healthcare, etc.) and how EVERFI’s products support industry-relevant education.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing or sponsorship activation, including a minimum of 1 year of client-facing experience required.
- Project management experience required.
- Ability to own end-to-end production of new marketing campaigns from concept to delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to tailor messages and influence audience.
- Experience managing 50+ person events (logistics, run of show development, etc.), including virtual events. Experience managing VIP speakers preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and copy-editing skills.
- Experience using a Marketing Automation Platform required.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system, Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Experience working with sports leagues or clubs helpful.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
