We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic, and people-oriented Human Resources/Operations Intern to assist in supporting our growing team. This position is ideal for college students eager to explore and implement HR processes, operations management, and organizational development in a mission-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the contractor/intern experience.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with recruitment processes including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates
-Support onboarding and orientation programs for new interns, volunteers, and staff
-Help maintain personnel files and internal HR documentation in Google Workspace
-Coordinate virtual meetings, performance check-ins, and team development activities
-Assist in tracking internship timelines, attendance, and productivity reports
-Support administrative tasks such as filing, organizing virtual documents, and maintaining internal communications
-Contribute to drafting HR policies, guides, and SOPs for remote work culture
-Collaborate across departments to support operational needs and ensure team efficiency
-Community engagement event assistance as necessary
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field of study in college with
interest in HR practices, organizational development, and remote operations
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills - a writing sample will be requested.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
-Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, etc.)
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
-Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to contribute to team success
-Able to report in office with applicable notice
