The Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing integrated marketing campaigns and projects across various marketing and communications channels.
The focus of this position is on developing and managing the implementation of marketing campaigns and campaign data, managing timelines and deliverables, and optimizing campaign effectiveness and analyzing complete campaigns for future improvements. The person in this role will need a robust skill set around data analysis that they can use to inform campaign strategy, iterate on marketing efforts, and support the credit union’s financial growth and member engagement objectives.
This role ensures marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget while aligning with the credit union’s strategic goals. The Manager will be responsible for campaign data mining and refinement and will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage campaigns, improve marketing processes, and ensure smooth operational execution of marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of marketing best practices and an ability to assimilate information, organize priorities, and communicate with transparency and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, from concept through deployment and analysis.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors during campaign planning and execution.
- Ensure all campaigns are executed on time, follow corporate brand guidelines, and meet stated objectives.
- Leverage data analytics and member segmentation to design targeted campaigns that align with the credit union’s strategic priorities.
- Track ROI of marketing initiatives and use campaign performance data to adjust tactics and maximize success.
- Collaborate with design, content, and digital teams to develop campaign assets and ensure brand consistency.
- Maintain a centralized campaign calendar to align internal communications and cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor key performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness. Create connections between marketing campaign performance and overall credit union financial and performance data.
- Partner with technology teams to determine campaign data effectiveness and optimization.
- Support the Marketing Director in preparing campaign performance reports and insights for leadership.
- Collaborate with content creators to deliver high-quality, relevant content for campaigns and projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and brand standards to enhance the overall member experience.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with external marketing vendors; track deliverables, timelines, and contract requirements.
- Support marketing budget tracking and invoice processing for campaign-related expenses and vendors.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or integrated marketing.
- Strong understanding of marketing channels, including email marketing (1 year+), social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
- Experience with data analysis and the ability to synthesize information that will drive strategic decision making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in project management software and marketing tools such as SmartSheets.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Preferred Skills (not required but a plus).
- Experience in a financial services or credit union environment is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, specifically in automation campaigns and including platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or Marketo.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and a 10-key calculator.
Annual Salary Range
- $87,941.88 to $107,484.52
