Marketing Coordinator
Remote, Washington (Hybrid)

Founded in 2003, we are an interdisciplinary team with 53 people with office locations in Seattle, Bellingham, and Port Angeles, Washington. Position Summary: We are hiring a Marketing Coordinator to support the development of compelling, timely, and brand-aligned proposals, marketing materials, and other client-facing communications. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member, of our marketing and business development team, you will help coordinate pursuit efforts, assist with content development, and contribute to the production of qualifications packages, presentations, and visual collateral. You will also support the organization and upkeep of marketing information such as project descriptions, resumes, and templates.
This role requires close collaboration with project managers, technical leads, and senior staff to gain a strong understanding of NSD's services, deliverables, and clients. You will work across platforms including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to generate cohesive, high quality materials.
You will report to the Marketing and Business Development Manager and play a key role in helping NSD share its story, win work, and grow our positive impact.
Position Location: (Seattle, Bellingham, or Port Angeles, Washington; and/or hybrid remote in WA)
We are currently using a hybrid model of in-office and remote work. For this position, our preferred candidate is located near one of our three office locations to more easily allow for in-office time.

Qualifications & Experience
Compensation:
Natural Systems Design offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including up to a 4% match on 401(K), 8 paid holidays, and 4 weeks of paid time off accrued annually. Wage ranges are based on a candidate's experience, qualifications, and industry knowledge. We expect the salary range for this position to be: $75,000-$85,000 DOE.
Start Date:
The position's start date is flexible and will be negotiated with the selected candidate based on their availability.
Hours:
We trust each other as professionals and respect each other as people. For us, this means staff have the autonomy to manage when they come into the office and when they work from home. Our staff have flexibility as exempt hourly positions. Hourly means when needed you could work less than a 40-hour week and conversely, additional hours worked beyond 40 hours are compensated at a 1.5x hourly rate. Some variable travel to project sites and office locations is expected.
