Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Bicester, Oxfordshire (3 days a week in the office,
2 remote)
Reports to: Chief Revenue Office (CRO)
Salary: 35k p/a
Our client a deep-tech SaaS business solving global water loss through award-
winning AI and acoustic leak detection. With proven deployments across the world, they are scaling our global impact in water security, utility performance, and climate resilience.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to support our business development team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their sales career who wants exposure to global markets, technology-led solutions, and strategic bid processes.
You’ll be responsible for researching target markets and opportunities, monitoring
tender portals, and helping prepare high-quality bids and proposals. You will also
manage and curate a library of bid collateral, marketing material, case studies, and other assets that support our commercial growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is a natural problem solver, and
takes pride in producing polished, professional outputs.
What You'll Do
Research & Market Intelligence: Monitor tender opportunities, funding calls, and
market developments across the target regions.
Bid Support: Assist the Business Development team in preparing commercial
proposals, tender submissions, and customer presentations.
Collateral Management: Develop and maintain a library of sales-ready content
including case studies, pitch decks, bid responses, and customer testimonials.
Coordination: Liaise across teams to gather input and ensure deadlines for bids
and proposals are met.
Process Improvement: Help refine our sales enablement processes and improve
the quality and consistency of outgoing commercial materials.

You’re organised, thorough, and able to juggle multiple priorities without
dropping the ball. You have a strong eye for detail and take pride in getting things right. You’re confident using tools like PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems to produce professional sales materials. You enjoy research and are curious about the industries and customers we serve. You’re a team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience in a sales support, bid coordination, or commercial operations
role. Exposure to SaaS, utilities, or technology-driven industries. Familiarity with bid portals or procurement systems.
